As the Association for Talent Development 2018 International Conference & Exposition approaches, we’re preparing our booth and planning our agendas. The four-day event promises to bring a wealth of knowledge from a worldwide learning and development community.
With so many areas to cover, here’s our best attempt at picking the Top 5 reasons to go to ATD 2018.
The Keynote Speakers
Each year, the ATD expo is capped off by some impressive keynote speakers – and this year is no exception.
The Sessions
With 466 sessions to choose from, filling your schedule won’t be as challenging as narrowing down which sessions to attend. ATD’s My Schedule Planner makes the scheduling part a little easier. With this app, you’ll stay organized and ensure you don’t miss any of the sessions you’re itching to see.
The Networking
This year’s Networking Night will be held aboard the USS Midway Museum. That’s right… an aircraft carrier. The USS Midway was on active duty for nearly 50 years, making it the longest-serving aircraft carrier in U.S. history. The 60 exhibits you will find aboard the ship tell its story, as do the 29 fully restored aircraft to view and explore.
The Expo
The EXPO Hall boasts more than 400 world-class training vendors providing offerings such as leadership development programs, assessment and ROI measurement tools, and the latest and greatest in learning technologies. ATD’s interactive map gives you the opportunity to chart your course before your shoes hit the expo floor.
We’ll be there
For more than 20 years, we’ve specialized in connecting individual actions to large organizational outcomes. Our methodologies incorporate aspects experiential and interactive learning as well as gamification. We’ll be at booth 600. Stop by and take a look at what we have to offer.
We hope to see you sometime between May 6-9, in beautiful San Diego. In the meantime, check out our latest Experiential Learning eGuide.
