Zodiak is a virtual experience that preserves the discovery, team-building, and interactivity of the in-person classroom and translates it to a virtual platform, led by seasoned facilitators who are business acumen experts, to create an experience that’s robust in content and rewarding for your learners.

Learners are immersed in a storyline that introduces business acumen concepts in a hands-on, visual setting (tailored to multiple learning styles). As small teams of learners become new owners of the struggling Zodiak company, they take out loans, attract investors, purchase equipment and materials, invest in product development and innovation, and deliver products and services to customers.

By understanding the big picture of how business works and how organizations make money, participants begin to see how their actions affect their organization’s bottom line. Relevant company information is woven throughout the Zodiak experience, resulting in a rich experience that leaves participants accountable and motivated to make a positive impact when they return to their jobs.

ABOUT THE TRAINING

  • Zodiak can be completed in two, two-hour modules on the same day or on two consecutive days.
  • Recommended class size is up to 16 participants (Note: larger or smaller class sizes can be accomodated).
  • Sessions will be hosted via Adobe Connect, using interactive elements and breakout rooms to facilitate team activities.
  • Pre-work and post-work modules add to the learning experience, ensuring your learners arrive prepared and continue their learning journey afterwards, resulting in bottom-line results for your organization.
  • Customized activities can be designed and incorporated into your virtual Zodiak experience, lending a deeper connection between the business concepts of the program and your organization.

  • Working together in small teams using our virtual game-based framework, participants work together in small teams to explore and discuss key concepts — external forces that cause change, the impact of change, drivers of success, how emotions and behaviors help or hinder progress and more.
  • Organization-specific discussions and exercises bring the lessons home by allowing participants to explore organizational changes in their own company or department and develop insights to take back to their jobs.
  • Managers delve deeper into the session and explore their role as change leaders — their responsibilities, their necessary skills, how to apply critical thinking and how to deal with their own reactions to organizational change.
